The Test Results are in and…

O Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth, and they will say, “Our ancestors have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them”.

Jeremiah 16:19 (LEB)

Tests can be stressful because they are many times the threshold to entering the next phase of life, a new job, or a life long desire. Driving tests, high school and university final exams, and even medical exams can all lead to fulfilling one’s dreams. What if you knew you were being tested for a phase of existence that is eternal? I am not talking about heaven or hell, such as, say a prayer and go to heaven when you die. I am talking about a test to see if you qualify to be sons and daughters of the Most High in the kingdom of God for all eternity.

Revelation 22:1–5 (LEB)

22 And he showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming out from the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street, and on both sides of the river is the tree of life, producing twelve fruits—yielding its fruit according to every month—and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. And there will not be any curse any longer, and the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his slaves will serve him, and they will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will not exist any longer, and they will not have need of the light of a lamp and the light of the sun, because the Lord God will give light to them, and they will reign forever and ever.

The Lexham English Bible translation uses the word “slaves” where other translations use the word “servants”. These are those people who “endured until the end”, or passed the tests that many do not even realize they are partaking in. They have made it to “heaven”, which is not going to be some ethereal place that our spirits float around on clouds with the spirits of our ancestors. This is the restoration of the Garden of Eden on a new, or renewed Earth. We will have tangible, resurrected bodies and no longer have to deal with the curse caused by sin in the original Garden of Eden, dwelling with the Creator as He intended from the beginning.

In Deuteronomy we are warned that God will test us by bringing false prophets, family members or neighbors in our path to see if we loved Him enough to learn His ways, and spot someone trying to lead us astray.

Deuteronomy 13 (LEB)

13 “If a prophet stands up in your midst or a dreamer of dreams and he gives to you a sign or wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes about that he spoke to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other gods (those whom you have not known), and let us serve them,’ you must not listen to the words of that prophet or to that dreamer, for Yahweh your God is testing you to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all of your heart and with all of your inner self. You shall go after Yahweh your God, and him you shall revere, and his commandment you shall keep, and to his voice you shall listen, and him you shall serve, and to him you shall hold fast. But that prophet or the dreamer of that dream shall be executed, for he spoke falsely about Yahweh your God, the one bringing you out from the land of Egypt and the one redeeming you from the house of slavery, in order to seduce you from the way that Yahweh your God commanded you to go in it; so in this way you shall purge the evil from your midst.

I realize I have used these verses in my recent blog posts. It is part of the message that I have. There are specific topics I need to address and they just come out a little different each time. The message is always the same: repent and believe the gospel, for the Kingdom of God is near! Most do not realize the “gospel” or “good news” is in the first five books of the Bible. The rest of the Bible is giving us the history of the gospel, real life examples how and how not to live a righteous life, complete with consequences, and then, finally, the fulfillment and method by which the Creator, Yah, will accomplish the good news through His son Yeshua.

Yahuah made covenants with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He has to honor those covenants regarding the land and other promises He made. The children of Jacob made a covenant at Mount Horeb with Yahuah, then their children renewed it at Moab. Yahuah told them that they too would break the covenant as their fathers, and be scattered to the four corners of the Earth, but the good news, or gospel is that He will send them a prophet like Moses, restore their fortunes and destroy their enemies. This is the gospel. The gospel started in the garden of Eden when the creator told Eve her seed would crush the head of the serpent. No one knew how it would happen and even now do not realize how God used “a prophet like Moses”, His favored son, Yeshua, to accomplish this work of restoring the kingdom.

Deuteronomy 30:1–10 (LEB)

“And then when all of these things come upon you, the blessing and the curse that I have set before you and you call them to mind among the nations there where Yahweh your God has scattered you, and you return to Yahweh and you listen to his voice according to all that I am commanding you today, both you and your children, with all your heart and with all your inner self, and Yahweh your God will restore your fortunes, and he will have compassion upon you, and he will again gather you together from all the peoples where Yahweh your God scattered you there. “Even if you are outcasts at the end of the heavens, even from there Yahweh your God shall gather you, and from there he shall bring you back. And Yahweh your God will bring you to the land that your ancestors had taken possession of, and he will make you successful, and he will make you more numerous than your ancestors. “And Yahweh your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your offspring to love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your inner self so that you may live. And Yahweh your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, on those who harassed you. And you will again listen to the voice of Yahweh, and you will do all his commandments that I am commanding you today. And Yahweh your God will make you prosperous in all your undertakings, and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground abundantly, for Yahweh will again rejoice over you, just as he rejoiced over your ancestors. 10 He will do this if you listen to the voice of Yahweh your God by keeping his commandment and his statutes written in the scroll of this law and if you return to Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your inner self.

Everything about Yahuah’s promises hinge on keeping “the way of Yahweh”. This is the entire theme of scripture.

Genesis 18:18–19 (LEB)

18 Abraham will surely become a great and strong nation, and all the nations of the earth will be blessed on account of him. 19 For I have chosen him, that he will command his children and his household after him that they will keep the way of Yahweh, to do righteousness and justice, so that Yahweh may bring upon Abraham that which he said to him.”

When we are told that Yahuah is going to send false prophets to test us, as in Deuteronomy 13, we should take this serious. It wasn’t the Pharisees, Constantine or the Council of Nicaea that lead us astray, the Illuminati or Jesuits who changed the course of the ship, but our lack of knowledge of scripture and knowing that the heart of God is for us to do what He said to do. “for Yahweh your God is testing you to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all of your heart and with all of your inner self“. God has used these things to test His people to see if they would follow the false prophets or cling to His words.

Yeshua said that He only does what He sees the Father doing, and He only says what He hears the Father saying. How can we have a religious system today with all these many sects not doing what the Father does and not saying what the Father says?

John 14:24 (LEB)

24 The one who does not love me does not keep my words, and the word that you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

John 5:19–24 (LEB)

19 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, the Son can do nothing from himself except what he sees the Father doing. For whatever that one does, these things also the Son does likewise. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything that he himself is doing. And greater works than these he will show him, so that you will be astonished. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and makes them alive, thus also the Son makes alive whomever he wishes. 22 For the Father does not judge anyone, but he has given all judgment to the Son, 23 in order that all people will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly I say to you that the one who hears my word and who believes the one who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

Yeshua said that we have to believe the one who sent him in order to have eternal life. Is this not believing Yahuah’s instructions about how we should conduct ourselves? At the very least, this is Yeshua telling us He is not telling us to do anything different than the Father told us to do. He couldn’t because he would be a false prophet as per Deuteronomy 13.

I had a discussion with a person on Reddit about doing what Yahuah says verses what the church tradition tells us to do. He said that reading the Bible for ourselves is a tradition of man and we should only listen to the Holy tradition handed down through the Apostles to the “church fathers”. Is this true? If it is, then which one of the many denominations has the correct traditions? Are we supposed to sit down, shut up and do whatever a church leader says, even if it is contrary to what the Father said, and what Yeshua said? Are you willing to bet your eternal home on what one of these leaders tells you? If Yeshua said we are believe the one who sent Him, and we have to listen to Yeshua, the choice is clear.

Acts 3:22 (LEB)

22 Moses said, ‘The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brothers. You will listen to him in everything that he says to you. 23 And it will be that every soul who does not listen to that prophet will be destroyed utterly from the people.’

The test is extremely difficult, but Psalm 119:165 (LEB) says, “Great peace is for those who love your law, and they do not have a cause for stumbling.”. This is the truth! The Creator handed us His oracles through the descendants of Jacob, and we will have to answer to the Creator, Yahuah, as to what we did with them. There will be no church “father” or “holy tradition” that we will be able to put blame on because, “Yahweh your God is testing you to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all of your heart and with all of your inner self”. Stephen told us the oracles of God were handed down through the children of Jacob in his speech that brought a stoning upon him from the leaders. Paul echoes this truth in his letter to the Romans.

Acts 7:37–40 (LEB)

37 “This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, ‘God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.’ 38 This is the one who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and who with our fathers received living oracles to give to us, 39 to whom our fathers were not willing to become obedient, but rejected him and turned back in their hearts to Egypt, 40 saying to Aaron, ‘Make us gods who will go on before us! For this Moses, who led us out from the land of Egypt—we do not know what has happened to him!’

Romans 3:1–2 (LEB)

3 Therefore, what is the advantage of the Jew, or what is the use of circumcision? Much in every way. For first, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.

What will be said is the words the prophet Jeremiah said we will say in a time in the future from now. “Our ancestors have inherited only lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them”. How can this be? We failed following through with the Deuteronomy 13 test to test our teachers, prophets, churches, family and neighbors. God has tested us continually through the ages to see if anyone would love Him enough, in their inner selves, to search and do what He said to do.

How can the thousands of denominations all be wrong? It is not hard to understand if we realize they came from one group of leaders, who hated the “oracles of God handed down to the Jews”, and kept disagreeing for hundreds of years, creating new sects. For example, the Anglican church was born from the Roman Catholic church so the King of England could divorce his wife, then the Episcopal church was born from the church of England after the American revolutionary war because no one in the new republic wanted to have anything to do with England. Hardly “Holy tradition”. It is more like they just wanted to do what they wanted, which the Church of Satan openly admits with the commandment, “do what thou wilt”.

There needs to be an anchor, and I am claiming it is the living words the Father gave us, through the children of Jacob, which Yeshua, from the tribe of Judah, helped clarify. If we are doing things contrary to what Yahuah said, then we are worshiping a different God. It cannot be Yahuah because He does not change. If we claim Jesus told us to do something different than what the Father said, then he would be a false prophet and could not be the son of the God of Abraham. If the apostles or “church fathers” told us to do something different than what Yahuah said to do then they are false prophets and we shouldn’t listen to them. It is that simple. We need the confidence and knowledge of the truth of scripture to stand up and say “That’s not what the God of Abraham said to do”.

It is like a game of Simon says. Simon says “these animals are good for you to eat”, Simon says “keep my Sabbaths”, “Sunday is the Lord’s day and we should work on the Sabbath”. Whoops, Simon didn’t say. Yeshua said we need to live on every word that comes from the mouth of God when he was tempted, quoting Deuteronomy 8:3. This is a good lesson for us to follow.

Matthew 4:4 (LEB)

But he answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man will not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’ ”

Deuteronomy 8:2–3 (LEB)

And you shall remember all of the way that Yahweh your God led you during these forty years in the desert in order to humble you and to test you to know what is in your heart, whether you would diligently keep his commandments or not. And he humbled you and let you go hungry, and then he fed you with that which you did not know nor did your ancestors know, in order to make you know that not by bread alone but by all that goes out of the mouth of Yahweh humankind shall live.

The Jesus’s presented by the many denominations today appear to be the ones that Yeshua prophesied about. One must remember that “name” means reputation and authority in both the Greek and Hebrew languages.

John 5:40–44 (LEB)

40 And you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life. 41 “I do not accept glory from people, 42 but I know you, that you do not have the love of God in yourselves. 43 I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me. If another should come in his own name, you would accept that one! 44 How are you able to believe, if you accept glory from one another, and do not seek the glory which is from the only God?

The Jesus that supposedly says to break the Sabbath, celebrate God on days special to false deities, such as the winter solstice, has to be one coming in his own name because these things are specifically against what the Father says to do. If this Jesus supposedly declares “all foods are clean”, it is simply the Father testing you to see if you know what animals were suitable to be called food. When something the Father calls evil, is called good by a supposed Jesus, who is proclaimed by a particular denomination, it is a test to see if you studied and know the truth.

Isaiah 5:20–24 (LEB)

20 Ah! Those who call evil good and good evil, those who put darkness for light and light for darkness, those who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! 21 Ah! Those who are wise in their own eyes and have understanding in their view! 22 Ah! Heroes at drinking wine, and men of capability at mixing strong drink! 23 Those who acquit the guilty because of a bribe and remove the justice of the innocent from him. 24 Therefore as the tongue of fire devours the stubble, and dry grass sinks down in the flame, so their root will become like the stench, and their blossom will go up like the dust. For they have rejected the instruction of Yahweh of hosts, and they have treated the word of the holy one of Israel with contempt.

The more one does what the Father commanded, the more the truth with be revealed to that person. This is faith in action. Do you have enough faith to do what the father said to do? To those that have, more will be given, to those who have not, what they have will be taken away.

Luke 8:14–18 (LEB)

14 And the seed that fell into the thorn plants—these are the ones who hear and as they go along are choked by the worries and riches and pleasures of life, and they do not bear fruit to maturity. 15 But the seed on the good soil—these are the ones who, after hearing the word, hold fast to it with a noble and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance. 16 “And no one, after lighting a lamp, covers it with a jar or puts it under a bed, but puts it on a lampstand, so that those who come in can see the light. 17 For nothing is secret that will not become evident, and nothing hidden that will never be known and come to light. 18 Therefore consider how you listen, for whoever has, to him more will be given, and whoever does not have, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away from him.”

If we follow His commandments, he will send a second helper called the Spirit of truth. This is in addition to the Spirit of grace, which draws you close to God, and enables you to “walk in the Spirit” as Paul teaches.

John 14:15–17 (LEB)

15 “If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, in order that he may be with you forever—17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not see him or know him.* You know him, because he resides with you and will be in you.

John the immerser, which is the English word for the Greek word “baptist”, said the following about Yeshua:

John 1:16–17 (LEB)

16 For from his fullness we have all received, and grace after grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

Baptist, as in “John the Baptist” is a transliterated word from the Greek. The English word should be immerser. The Greek word is “baptistes”, with a small “b”. I find that an interesting side note.

Repent and believe the gospel! 2nd Timothy 2:19 (LEB) However, the solid foundation of God stands firm, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and “Everyone who names the name of the Lord must abstain from unrighteousness.”
