People have been at war with each other for a very long time. Those that give the book of Enoch credibility can see exactly how weapons of warfare were introduced. We don’t have to blame it all on the adversary though. Cain went to war with his brother Able over jealousy.

⁸ Then Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let us go out into the field.” And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him. ⁹ Then Yahweh said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” And he said, “I do not know; am I my brother’s keeper?” ¹⁰ And he said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to me from the ground (Genesis 4:8–10, LEB)

The voice of the blood of the innocent cries out to God from the ground. How many places is this happening in the world today? The innocent blood of children crying out from the ground in all the places they are being slaughtered, mostly for selfishness, resources, land and power. Is it a coincidence that the goat that would take the sin from the Israelites during Yom Kippur was called the Azazel goat?

8 Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one lot for Yahweh and one for Azazel. 9 And Aaron shall present the goat on which the lot for Yahweh fell, and he shall sacrifice it as a sin offering. 10 But he must present alive before Yahweh the goat on which the lot for Azazel fell to make atonement for himself, to send it away into the desert to Azazel.  (Leviticus 16:8–10, LEB)

Is this Azazel entity in the desert a representation of Azazel spoken of by Enoch? The sixty-six book Bible gives us no other reference to what is meant by Azazel in the desert. Perhaps that is because it was explained in Enoch, and everyone had access to that book at one time. Modern scholars spend hours convincing people that Enoch is of no value, yet both Jesus and Jude freely quote from it, with Jude even naming the book. The scholars today will claim that the book of Enoch we have was written around Jude’s quote and to throw away Enoch. This is the benefit of not being a “biblical scholar.” We can depart from the norms and lose no credibility because we have none to begin with!

The point is that humans have been at war with each other from the beginning. It started before the Israelites were a people, before Christianity and before Muhammad. War is politics by other means and will often incorporate religion to justify stealing other people’s belongings, committing genocide against a people all in the name of a deity that makes these acts seem just in someone’s eyes.

Leaders will incorporate religion into conflict to play on people’s emotions. The US President Donald Trump has referred to Iranians as “nuts” and “religious fanatics.” The advantage of having Donald Trump as the US President is that he does not have the education to cloak his true feelings as other leaders have in the past. Uneducated people can use the term “religious fanatic” to simplify complex geopolitical issues and create an enemy based on religious beliefs. The Vice President JD Vance believes he may be bringing about biblical end-time prophecies through US actions, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thinks he is fulfilling Ezekiel 38 prophecies. So, we are either led by a host of religious fanatics, or they are using religion to steal land, resources, gain power and make wealth for themselves. I am opting for the latter.

In the West, we are told to fear Islam because the religion is used to take over populations through politics, leading to authoritarianism. If we look at the settler colonialist history of so-called Christian countries, it leaves countless examples of the West subduing other territories and stealing their resources. Oftentimes, it was accompanied by oppression, hardship, starvation, war, etc. We see historical evidence of the West interfering in legitimately elected governments only to somehow install a government that will funnel away resources from its own people or use them to its advantage. Perhaps Islam is just used throughout history to counteract Christian settler colonialism? Ukraine and Iran are current examples of this. It is wrong, and the West is now having to deal with not being able to maintain its colonial empires any longer.

The places that have been used for resources like Africa, Western Asia, and South and Central America are slowly starting to stand up to the empires. Through BRICS, China, Russia, and India are helping the Global South rise up and be more independent with their resources. This is a huge threat to the West. Places like Europe have limited resources and have to outsource everything. They eye places like Russia as new territories to expand to in order to obtain their resources, but Russia is not standing by and letting it happen. The aggression against Iran can be viewed similarly. They need new “colonies” to supply their needs. It sounds harsh, but it is hard to deny in light of history and declassified documents.

Whether anyone agrees with my analysis of the world or it makes them angry is really not important. We are pawns of the world. We are the slaves, serfs, and “employees.” We vote, but nothing about what I have been talking about changes. During the last year of Barack Obama’s presidency, the US dropped 26,000 bombs on seven countries. He was a better speaker and more educated than President Trump, but the same forces were behind him.

It’s a foregone conclusion that the Republicans are going to get slaughtered in the midterm election next week, as well as they should. They had two years of a full majority government, along with a mostly conservative Supreme Court. Great achievements could have been made to help the country and its allies, but instead, along with Israel, it decided to assassinate the Iranian supreme religious leader during negotiations with Iran about their nuclear program. Doubling down on this aggression on Iran, the entire world economy has been negatively affected with shortages of everything that comes out of the strait of Hormuz. Good job Republicans! They probably have hastened the collapse of the American empire by 20 years. Maybe it is by design. It is hard to image people this incompetent at the top.

So when the Democrats take over Congress it should get better right? No, they are just as wrapped up in whatever dark forces the Republicans are. They will ramp up the war with Russia throwing endless resources at Ukraine until the last Ukrainian is dead. They will continue to help Israel with its settler colonialist ambitions and probably carry on with the aggression with Iran. It will just be presented differently. We will soon start hearing about hoards of immigrants coming through the border. Meanwhile, our wealth will continue to evaporate and be given to places like the “military industrial complex” through a complex money laundering scheme.

My point is that as pawns and slaves to the system our enemies are not people from different religions, of different opinions and societies. We have one thing to focus on as followers of Yeshua. That is keeping the commandments of God. If we do this as exemplified by Yeshua, then it will make these other problems of no effect. Yes physically we can have hardship and suffering due to the warring factions, and complete morons running things, but we can identify the sources of problems and try to stay isolated from it all with our priority fearing and pleasing God.

13 Now that all has been heard, here is the final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.  (Ecclesiastes 12:13–14, LEB)

Populations that completely turn their back on God’s commandments will continue to decline as the blood of their victims cries out from the ground to God. The wars and rumours of wars will continue.
